Hi everyone, I am so grateful to have found this group. I’m a doctor who stutters, and for a long time I thought my stutter would hold me back from things like phone calls, presentations, or even meeting new people. But over the past few years, I’ve started shifting how I think about it. A few things that really helped: * **Facing fears in small steps** instead of waiting until I felt “ready” * **Talking about stuttering openly** (even though it was uncomfortable at first) * **Focusing on progress, not perfection** I also found it super helpful to connect with others who stutter — that support changed everything. I’ve started sharing tips, stories, and mental health support on my Instagram [u/stutterconnect](https://www.instagram.com/stutterconnect) if anyone wants to follow or reach out. Totally free, and I try to keep it real and supportive. If you're struggling: you're not alone. You *can* live a full, bold life with a stutter. Dr McCool
