I had a conversation with a close friend about this once when I was really struggling with my self confidence. He said “you will meet plenty of people who have no patience for your stutter. That’s just a fact. But, fuck ‘em because you’ll meet plenty more who aren’t bothered by it at all and genuinely enjoy your company.”
