I'd just like to add one thing: It's not that a stutter is going to forever keep you away from working in a capacity where the stutter might surface. You might still end up a place like what you're aiming for. I'm 43 and work in a job where I talk a lot. The more I talk, the more likely stutters are to appear - but it's not a problem, because I do the job regardless. It took a while to get here, but it's not impossible. Keep trying.
