That's unfortunate bit of true. The radio communication is such a vital part of being a pilot. There must be other careers that you are interested in that require less oral communication. I avoided s career in mental health because I didn't have the confidence to compete professionally. Luckily I married well at a time when being a homemaker was an acceptable career. Hang in there.
