Well, we don't know precisely what causes stutter. Don't worry about the "neurological or not" thing. Speech therapy differs from situation to situation, so you might want to give it another shot (elsewhere). We can't really say what'll happen to your stutter - but we can say that you have the option to work on managing it. :)
