Those ideas probably come from SLPs with litetally zero training in dysfluency. They are about as helpful as asking a professional makeup artist to see if your mole is cancerous. If those are what I think they are, people who’ve I heard using them sound severely intoxicated I might have done a similar thing to become near fluent - starting slowly and enunciating. But it keeps me fluent because I added a few key details - make eye contact, voluntary repetitions and exhale normally
