I'm in my mid-30s. I went to my son's school a couple months back to meet his teacher and blocked then stuttered so FUCKING hard on my name (starts with an R). The universe really effed me on that one. But you know what? IDGAF anymore. My kid has a disability AND a speech disorder. My daughter stutters. We're all in this together so I'm trying not to think about it too much anymore. So, it'll take time, but letting it happen is often the easiest route. It's not worth your stress. Try to decompress this weekend!
