Ironically, I had a really bad stutter, it's not anywhere near as bad now, but am able to work as an English teacher in Japan. Perhaps a job where you need to talk to people shouldn't be dismissed just yet. Although can definitely empathise and 100% understand if you do want to find a job that requires little to no communication. If I ever return to Australia, that'd be what I'd look for initially.
