I work as a pharmacist. Pretty much what other people have said. You just have to own that you have a stutter in any job you do, or any part of life. Many of us who stutter find that, counterintuitively, the more you stutter openly and let them happen, the less you stutter. Confidence is key. Repetition in your job also helps. Can’t lie, I was anxious and shaking out of my mind the first dozen or more times I had to counsel patients, talk on the phone to doctors, and just interact with staff and new people in general, and plenty of stutters and blocks happened. Eventually though, it got easier and more routine, and now it’s way more mild than what it used to be at work. You can do any job as a person who stutters that anyone else can do, you just have to have the confidence and work at it. I also can’t recommend speech therapy with a certified SLP enough. Changed my life. Don’t sacrifice what you want to do in life just because of this stupid affliction we were born with.
