So sorry to hear about your loss. I have had the same issues with stuttering worse when someone is hard of hearing. I am sure your grandparents know you love them and cherished your relationship. Is there any way you can FaceTime him? Even if you struggle through the conversation, he will understand the intent. You could also write him a letter perhaps? So sorry you’re dealing with this. I’ve been there- in a very similar situation.
