I took speech therapy from grades 2-10. It didn't help, partly cause I didn't really try, but also cause sometimes breathing techniques simply don't always work for everyone, and that's all I been taught. I wasn't told there was a confidence and anxiety factor into it, so serveral years later my stuttering is worse than it was in childhood cause I'm paying more attention it being self conscious. I'm not trying to persuade you from taking it, it might help for all we know, I'm just saying I wouldn't take it again. I think I need to speak to an actual non-speech therapist to see wtf is wrong with me and why I'm so self conscious about everything.
