Hey man! I have been in the army for 4 years. I have had a stutter my entire life. It has presented a ton of problems for me over my entire life, but its something that I still really have not come to terms with. I have been working on it for a very long time. Growing up I saw a Speech Pathologist for most of my school years, but I really just went to talk with her. She taught me a lot of techniques that I have used over the years, but they kinda turned into ticks or my go to when saving my self from blocks. Now being in the military I have done a lot over my four years so far, I went and completed U.S Army Ranger School, Got my Expert Infantrymen Badge, and Combat Infantrymen Badge. Every school that I have been to has been a great success! I recently got promoted to SGT,(which I never really thought would happen). Its been a really long road. Everyday is a constant struggle with my speech. I still have the good and bad days, If you ever need advice or just wanna talk, I'm down. Good luck man! Pm if need be.
