I am a girl who stutters but in my experience I found that guys who stuttered would ask me out quickly and maybe even with more confidence than the fluent speaker. I did go on one date with one of them who asked me out while in graduate school. However, it was awkward because the men who I met who asked me out and also stuttered were in the support group I decided to join. I was more about wanting a safe place to talk about my stutter (previous no speech therapy and never spoke to anyone about)then wanting to find a new boyfriend, so I decided not to continue dating or to date anyone else. However, I think other girls who stutter may have liked and been more interested as one could maybe be themselves faster.
