There are home movies of me stuttering from a young age. I saw a speech therapist from first all the way to 8th grade. My stutter definitely went away between 5th and 6th grade, I think I was just super confident, lot of schoolyard crushes. Then the summer before 7th grade I guess I went through puberty, self esteem dropped, stutter came back and way different and I’ve been stuttering ever since. It kinda went away in high school which was weird because I was a wreck self esteem wise, I managed it through college and now it’s just a daily thing I work with.
