Increased fluency that is temporary is meaningless. You want long term reduction in stuttering. The literature and my own experiences tell me the effects are long term. Too many people equate a speech prosthesis with the SpeechEasy prosthesis which has many negative reviews. The Edinburgh Masker and DAF are much different and really help those of us who stutter.
