I have a hard time believing enough people would commit to faking a stutter that it would hinder the government's ability to fund research. By best estimate, 3 million Americans stutter. That's not many people in the big picture. I was hoping that having a president that stutters would shine a bit more of a true light on the issue, but that went about how I thought it would. He just practices avoidance and it gets mixed up with the fact that he is damn old.
