Weird faces while stuttering

Weird faces while stuttering Whenever I stutter, I always make these really weird faces as I'm stuttering, which sucks because I have pretty long stutters and it's always embarrassing to make a weird face almost every time I stutter. My speech therapist says it's because of all of the tension in my mouth when I stutter, but I'm not 100% sure. Do any of you guys experience this?
