Neurogenic stutters lack the secondary behaviors of persistent stuttering. The individual does not typically block, blink, or engage in circumlocution. They might not even be aware of the stutter if it is secondary to aphasia. It a person has a neurogenic stutter they may also have effects from their original tbi.
