I try to put less pressure on wanting/needing "good periods" doing that makes me less stressed which in turn makes me stutter less. I also try not to get too embarrassed when I do stutter, my stutter tends to come on in clusters, once it gets bad, it's going to get **really** bad. When I block, I try to make it less awkward by maintaining eye contact with whoever I'm talking to. Also, I am in speech therapy right now, and I'm using the airflow technique. It takes practice, but it is really showing results, I definitely recommend it!
