Thanks for sharing. I'm also 40, and have arrived in a similar place with regards to my stutter. I was actually talking about my struggles with stuttering recently with a coworker, and he told me that literally no one in the office cares that I stutter. It's just a minor part of who I am that everyone can occasionally observe, but no one ever focuses on.
