You're right, I spoke out of anger, and I absolutely apologize for that. We're only hearing one perspective on this situation, and we don't know the circumstances that allowed OP end speech therapy in the first place. I deeply sympathize with OP because I was in a similar situation as a child where I "graduated" from a three week intensive program and then was consequently punished and shamed every time I spoke with less than fluent language.
