I can really relate to this — I’m a doctor and I stutter too, and phone calls used to be one of the hardest things for me. The pressure to respond quickly, especially in a professional setting, can make it so much tougher. What helped me was starting small — practicing with short, low-stakes calls (like ordering food) and gradually working up to more important ones. I also found it useful to slow down and give myself permission to pause, rather than rushing through. Over time, it made calls feel less overwhelming. I actually put together a video where I share some of the strategies that helped me manage phone calls with a stutter. Here’s the link in case it’s useful: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDDheRPocxE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDDheRPocxE)
