Venting about Stuttering in Med school Man some days are good and some days are just plain bad. We have a class called doctoring with a group of 8 students and 2 doctors. Then we have a standardize patient aka fake patient that 1 student interviews infront of 10 people watching. Worse thing about that class is that we all get assigned readings each week and we are supposed to teach others what we read. Then we have another class called Case based learning where we go over a case and each students gets to make a presentation and present to our group of 10 students. As you know, these Med students are type A and very smart people but so far I have survived. I dread every day especially classes where a random student get called to read or answer. This happens a lot and makes it hard to pay attention a lot of times. Then I have to see patients and do that whole interaction again then present to my preceptor. I’m constantly nervous. How do I calm my nerves?
