I believe you can have a good time with people, even if you stutter. Stuttering is just how some people talk differently from others and if both sides are comfortable with it, it can have almost no social impact. It can be hard to do but when you first meet her, maybe you can say “so I just wanted to let you know that I have a stutter. i’ve had it for a long time (or whatever applies to you) and i’d just really appreciate it if you didn’t finish my sentences or anything.” You can modify it however you want. If you tell them exactly what it is and what to do, most people will be nice about this! In addition, you’ve now educated this person on stuttering and they will most likely never hurt the feelings of another person who stutters out of ignorance. If the person reacts negatively or treats you differently because of your stutter, you are much too good to be treated that way. I hope your date goes well! You got this!!
