Does anyone else do this? When I stutter in front of someone new (and I have a really severe stuttering, mostly timeless blocks), I actually laugh about it and act charming and still smile to the other person and I simply make it not seem like a big deal. BUT when I'm finally alone I beat myself up and feel embarrasment and shame and guilt. I was wondering if you, dear community, do the same.
