Really fascinating. So all that goes on in our heads for what we may "need" to do compounds the effect but what about the initial issue itself. For instance, I was at the dentist today, went to say goodbye, and couldn't finish it to my surprise, tried again with surprise (at this time I didn't think of much of anything because it felt like trying again would just let me say it) but it took about 3 trees and it just came out freely. It happened very quickly but I did feel some anxiousness in saying goodbye. I really like and want to continue to focus on the idea that all of this random anxiousness should not effect speech. I'll now drop the idea of tension to test out this concept of yours that tension, etc, should not effect speech so I will try to have no doubt that I can say that which I wanna say with anxiousness, fear, worry, or anything.
