Oh trust me, they don't. Atleast where i am from and from my experience they don't. No one at my school knew that i stutter, some of my family members didn't. My friends and people i meet, dont know. No one has ever asked me if i stutter, it only comes out when i tell them Edit: its probably that i dont stutter like this "S-s-s-stutter", i have blocks, i switch out words and use a word in front of my sentences that "helps".
