I don't even have to say my name often and I stutter since I was 6. I doubt it is how it works (for some people, sure, but ehm is it a general thing?). I also have troubles with my second name and I say that one like twice a year. Plenty of people with a stutter can say their name just fine. My last name is no problem at all
