Bro, the technique I am trying to learn consists in prolonging the first sound and the transition to the second sound of the word you are stuck, and if the word starts with a consonant that can't be prolonged you use a light contact and prolong the next sound normally. To practice this technique, you need to prolong for at least 1s in the first sound (the transition can be a little bit faster). I learned that technique from an e-book called "Self-Therapy for the Stutterer" by Malcolm Fraser, you can download that e-book for free on the Stuttering Foundation website, they have a lot of books. link: [https://www.stutteringhelp.org/free-e-books](https://www.stutteringhelp.org/free-e-books) And by the way, Malcolm Fraser is the founder of the stuttering foundation, he is a stutterer like us and this book is based on a lot of scientific research made by stutterers themselves, so I think this can be a pretty valid content for stutterers trying to improve. I'm doing my self-therapy mostly by this book. I recommend it.
