Some tips I find useful for job interviews: Know what you're good at and roughly what you want to say based on your values and experiences. Only rehearse exact phrasing if you find that helpful. Otherwise be spontaneous and genuine. When you stutter, mention if you can that you stutter at times (I know it's obvious but being open about it confirms to the interviewer that you have a speech disorder and aren't on drugs or stupid). They often say something like "It's ok. Take your time." Here you've effectively said you need a certain spaciousness to talk (by which I mean time and acceptance) and they have granted you that. This takes the pressure off a little. Then focus on the reason you're there. You have skills and values the company needs and they want to hear about them. You and they want to make sure you're a good fit for the role. And if not, reflect on what went well, what didn't, and move on to the next job. It's not easy, but I hope this helps. Edit: spelling
