SSRIs made mine horrible . Wellbutrin is a great non Ssri medication. I’m married happily with two baby boys and a good job, last year everything was so overwhelming, I was depressed for half the year it started to feel normal. Started medication in December and it’s been Life changing! I’ve also been on low dose clonazepam for a couple years. Benzodiazepines usually scare the shit outta me, but this also has really helped, especially with my speech. I don’t take it every day, because you build a tolerance quick. But having it handy has also been life changing. Both mediations have helped with being a father and husband.
