That's awesome sounds like you are a great parent! I'm with a group and we refer to ourselves as the losers hah, but I wouldn't recommend that name for kids! We mean it in a joke sort of way, making light of how we can feel sometimes. You probably already do this, but have you looked up to see if there are any NSA chapters near you? I know there is a youth chapter in the Boston area. Good luck!
