My husband and I read our vows to each other privately rather than at the ceremony. So instead, I just had very small things to say “I, blank, take this man to be my….” Speak slowly! If you’re nervous you’ll try and talk fast. For me, the ceremony was a very out of body experience. Almost like I was watching myself do it all.
