Speech therapy is not about "guessing" why a stutterer stutters. It's about helping the stutterer to manage their stuttering better. As such, we don't really care about causes of stuttering in this regard - science is still being done on that, and it likely won't be helping us anytime soon. Apart from that, speech therapy isn't about "fixing". It's about improving your quality of life. You should not be aiming for a "cure", since that's not the purpose. Being overly concerned about fluency is not fruitful in that regard. Perhaps you should instead go consult a professional, instead of trying to sort things out yourself. I mean, it's good if you've found something that helps you, but it's also important that you know what you're talking about, when it comes to stutter and stutter resources. In some countries, speech therapy is free. It's always sad to hear from someone who isn't fortunate enough to live in such a place.
