Can a thyroglossal cyst cause stuttering?

Can a thyroglossal cyst cause stuttering? I know this is very specific but I need to know if a thyroglossal cyst can cause/affect stuttering At the age of three, I had an incision in my throat to remove the thyroglossal cyst, the thyroid gland was not touched and the tongue bone was not cut. I ask this question because I still have a very small piece of the cyst in my throat and I can do a complicated incision with risks to remove this part that doesn't really bother me on a daily basis. I asked your doctor who could do the dissection for me and he said there is no connection But I wanted to hear your opinion Thanks :)
