it's horrible. I probably would have walked home to avoid that issue. I remember being in in a police lineup (as an extra for money), but the officer went down thr line asking everyone their name. I was last, and felt the pressure mounting after each person. somehow i manged to get out the name without a stammer, but then I feel like why did I not stutter that time but others I do. it's a horrible condition. if you can afford treatment I suggest looking into the Mcguire programme. the first word they have you say,.after a day training, is your name. because your name is the one woed you can't change and have to say often.
