It's something that crossed my mind. But ultimately I couldn't think of any name that was both noticably easier to say, and still felt like me. In my job introducing yourself to new people is very common, a handshake and "Jon, pleasure to meet you" prior to the meeting or discussion. When I can, I avoid saying my name, just say "pleasure to meet you". You can see the other person lingering on me, waiting for my name that never comes. I feel like a total idiot. But honestly, sometimes saying my name is so hard someone feels the need to pitch in for me.
