Thank you. I've been trying to act as if the stutter doesn't occur at all because I don't want kiddo to be self conscious and turn this into an anxiety loop, but I'm sure that my facial expressions have slipped at times. We have discussed it, because after spending a long time trying to get out the word "do" the kiddo yelled, "Damn it! My brain is acting broken and I'm tired of it's bullshit! This is ridiculous" then immediately went back to stuttering an apology for the language. We actually ended up having a laugh over it, but the thing that worried me was that kiddo is concerned enough that they're paying attention to when they don't stutter. Kiddo already knew that curse words don't stutter (also discovered that they are cursing at a high school level, but that's another story) and that "cowboy talk", "pirate talk", and "fancy lady/ gentleman talk" won't stutter. They're 6 and keeping freaking notes.
