Does anyone else HATE a word and whenever they have to read it, that creates more anxiety which then causes you to stutter? I'm reading Romeo and Juliet in my class and my role is the narrator. There's this certain word I can never read which is "exit". The worst part is I say this word a lot and it just sounds terrible every time. I hate how I can say it normally at any point in the day but once I see it in my book, I start panicking and then stutter. I created this fear around it and now I dont think I'll be able to say it normally despite using my techniques. Who else has experienced something similar?
