I am being real. It takes a lot of things coming together for a person to go from stutterer to public speaker. 99% might not get there. But the things that always stuck with me were my failures to try. Letting my stutter make a decision for me. My worst stuttering memory, bad as it is, is worse because I didn't persevere. None of my other stuttering memories have really stuck with me. But there are a lot of "didn't take the shot" memories that have stuck with me. Of that 99% here, how many of them won't get there because they let their stutter make their decisions. Because they didn't take the shot. That 99% can be reduced. I don't care what your challenge is in life, stuttering or other. You can move the needle.
