Because when they think of having a stutter it’s terrifyingly to them and they don’t know how they would cope. So instead of giving the respect we deserve for speaking despite knowing being made fun of, they just turn all that off and say… “w-w-whuuut d-did you ssssayy??” Just like how it’s easy for people to make fun of people in a wheelchair but if it were them they would probably click delete on themselves due to them being weak mentally and otherwise. The only good news is when people make fun they out themselves as being a prideful dumbass. The only disappointment is seeing the sheer number of dumbasses we are forced to endure.
