Because I used to be a researcher in stuttering. When I looked at Science and Nature, there were only 2 articles about stuttering, one was very old, in the 1940s, about talking with 4 limbs on the floor. I remember it so vividly because it is so weird and still it got published in science. The other one was a communication letter from Prof. William Perkins. So not much to say about it. PS: my search on Science and Nature about stuttering was probably not comprehensive. It was done many years ago anyway. PS: just did another search on science and found more articles about stuttering. Obviously I have left the academia for some years. Also my previous search on stuttering did not yield a comprehensive picture. Anyway, here is the link to the 1935 article in Science. It was done in Univ. of Michigan https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.82.2135.518
