Some people stutter more when praying, while others stutter less when praying (for example, because they tell themselves that God doesn't judge them negatively, and thus, they feel **less** pressure / high expectations) Some people stutter more with authoritative stress and social anxiety, while others (yes, like me for instance) stutter less with authoritative stress (because I tell myself that police offers etc - are more respectful, it's their job after all). Some people stutter more, if they **speak more slowly** (for example, because they have more time to worry about feared words), while others stutter less (if they speak more slowly) (for example, because they convince themselves that it's a helpful and effective technique, it's like a self-fulfilling prophecy. It can reduce pressure) To conclude this all, I think that virtually anything can be used - so that we stutter either **more** or **less**.. depending how we view stuttering (it basically depends on how we use the tool). This is just my own take on it
