Stuttering broke me as a child and adult, along with other 'nervous dispositions' it totally messed me up in relationships/work/family and more. What could I do except get through the day and hope things got better. Now I'm in my 50s and no longer stutter but the effects still linger. I could suggest accepting your stutter, look people in the eye go out in the world and do your best but I know how hard that will be.
