> I don't believe those "happy stutterers" who insist that stuttering doesn't bother them at all. I am one of those crazies. I realize it's a radical viewpoint in the stuttering community. To be honest, I never thought I'd have that mindset, and I shared your opinion in regard to that for a long time. With that being said, it's not going to be a solution for everyone, just like any other approach. I will let you know however, as alien it may seem, it is possible. Disclaimer: of course I'd be lying if I said it doesn't bother me every minute of every day, but I can honestly say 99+% of the time stuttering does not bother me nor does it affect any of my decisions (daily or life decisions). Stuttering is no longer a burden for me. It's taken me 15 years of internal work to get to this point.
