Kind of yes but mostly no...? It's not that I've had difficulty making female friends, but my friend groups have always been large and mixed-gender. So I've never had like, a tight group of girlfriends the way that other women have, but I do have a lot of female friends. And I don't think the way I make friends is directly related to stuttering, though I can relate to you that I've almost always befriended other misfits... so it could just be that groups of misfits are less segregated by gender. As an adult I've never felt judged or rejected by other women, I just haven't necessarily sought out female-only friendships.
