I used to think like that as well , I am 18 and I got a job in retail . I stutter severely and can’t even say certain words and even saying my own name takes me about 10 seconds to say . I work at the tills as a cashier and customer service and it’s really hard sometimes to speak to customers . But it’s not that bad as most people are very nice and patient . Some people are drunk and horrible but I don’t really give a shit about them . Communicating with my colleagues is also challenging as sometimes they don’t understand what I say but I somehow speak to them . Don’t be scared bro just get the job it also helps with my confidence
