A key to overcoming your stutter is to not be anxious about it. Don't sweat over it, because admit it, this is how you're gonna live your life. A lot of us got through your phase, including myself by not giving a fuck and go for it. Probably because we were already so fed up with having to experience this everytime we had to speak that we simply got tired of our stutter anxiousness. I was a wreck at the start of high school, we had to introduce ourself, tell where we're from, some hobbies etc. You can imagine how horrible it was, block after block. I was sure I'll be marked as a loser and pathetic person. Last year of my high, I also became a key figure in our little class community, and now that I'm in Uni, I speak a lot and just called a person that I've neither spoken to nor seen yet. I introduced myself, through a phone, and arranged a meeting for a book today. No stutter.
